Eldorado Stone Corporation is a Washington State company and the developers of the Eldorado line of cast stone products. Eldorado Stone began some thirty years ago as one man's dream - a dream to handcraft the most believable stone veneer in the world. Of course it had to be easy to install and be much less expensive than real stone. But first-and-foremost, it had to look like the real thing. Something stonemasons the world over have come to agree upon. Something not always true of other architectural stone veneers.
Today Eldorado Stone is manufactured in twenty-six licensed plants in thirteen countries-Ecostone Products is the Western Canadian manufacturer. Each plant is supplied with moulds and formulae by Eldorado to ensure consistent and even quality. Because the manufacturing facilities are individually and locally owned, they are also able to develop and colour stone native to their locations - no other manufacturer of cast stone is able to provide this local specialization.

Cast stone is a manufactured concrete product fabricated in two principal product groups for use in the building industry. It commonly takes the form of wall veneers to enhance the exterior appearance of houses and commercial buildings. Cast stone is a popular substitute for other masonry products such as brick veneer. It may be applied over most existing masonry finishes, directly onto sheathing, dry wall, stucco and rigid foam insulation - see applications.
Cast stone is formed in moulds. The moulds are carefully replicated from real stone found in nature. Every blemish, ridge, crease and crevice you can expect to find in natural rocks is faithfully reproduced in the handcrafted stone moulds. The finished product is totally representative of the original from which it was duplicated.
In essence, cast stone is natural stone re-created - the blending of lightweight aggregates, iron oxide pigments, sand and Portland cement creates the manufactured product that looks and feels like natural stone in light weight form. The stone's lighter weight permits easy installation over an existing surface without the requirement for additional foundation or support. The color is permanent and weathering only enhances the stone's appearance.
